Job Site Visits

Using Our Vehicles. Horizon Health Access will come to your location! We employ a variety of vehicles to accommodate job sites without available trailers or where site conditions are not suitable for conducting our testing services. Our team is highly experienced in performing on-site surveillance evaluations, ensuring efficiency and adaptability in diverse environments.​

Scheduling. Job-site visits for blood work can be scheduled monthly or at intervals depending on the specific needs of our clients. We require at least 3 to 4 days notice to ensure proper scheduling, preparation, and staffing for these visits. However, we are flexible and can accommodate exceptions or urgent requests based on our available resources.

Pulmonary function testing

Respirator-fit testing

Urine drug panels (5 drug panels)

Silica testing including mobile X-ray

Audiometry (Audioscope 25 through 40-decibel settings to test frequencies of 500 to 4,000 Hz)

Physical examinations including Audiometry and doctor’s report

Cadmium and Arsenic blood testing as needed
Reporting
The lead & ZPP reports will have a 24-hour turnaround time after Horizon Health receives the results from the lab. A copy of the summary sheet summarizing all the values of the individuals whose tests have been made available to us will be emailed to you. A formal printout with an interpretation as to normal or abnormal will be received within 5 business days.
Pulmonary function tests will similarly require 24 hours for preparation and receipt of the report. A copy of all documents for the test report will be made available to the employer.
Abnormalities. If a test report is strikingly abnormal or dangerously so, you will receive a phone call from our office to discuss management and possible sources of the abnormality. We at Horizon Health Access find that this is the only acceptable method of managing such cases and have based our success on positive outcomes from communicating with the safety officers on each specific job.
